Because he IS the best pressure player of all time you idiot.
You're a very talented debater, it has to be said.

I'm very confused about the result.
I've been watching snooker since the 90's and I'm willing to bet my house Higgins and Selbo are superior to him in this department.

It depends really, because there are different types of pressure. I voted for Ronnie because of his great record in deciders (better than Hendry!), but Ronnie was susceptible to other types of pressure where Hendry was more solid.

Hendry wasn't crap for the last 15 years of his career. Maybe the last 5, at a push.

Ive re looked at ranking results and I may have exagerated a little but he looks to have been finished by 2005 with the ocassional run in a tournament but mainly out in the first 3 rounds.
So terrible (by his standards) for around 7ish years

I think that's more fair.
When you said the last 15 years of his career before I'm not sure if you realized that this period included a dominant 96/97 season (apart from the WC final), his greatest ever triumph at the 99 WC and the 2002 WC which he should have won.
Didn't he also win a ranker and get back to world number 1 around 2005?
I'd say things probably started to go downhill for him in 2006ish.

He got to WN1 in 2007 but didn't win anything to get there I don't think.
I remember him saying something like "I'd rather be winning tournaments than be WN1 because of consistency."
