Snooker Legends is back for its eighth year with the staging of the Seniors Masters, with eight men playing for the title over two sessions.

Stephen Hendry, John Parrot, Joe Johnson, Cliff Thorburn, Willie Thorne and Dennis Taylor will join two lucky amateur players who will get the chance to play at the home of snooker.

My regret from last year was that I didn't see enough of this when it was in Redhill. A train ride from me. Went one evening.

Again, I've sort of rushed into buy tickets for York this year. Also want to have time to go to Welsh Open, English Open and Preston. Already thinking at least one of those will have to be sacrificed, as I'll be having The Masters off and the entire Crucible fortnight off work.

Just too much snooker, not enough Annual Leave.
