Yeah the lads are showing a bit of a power. Nothing else can´t be getting out of that statistics.
Now they all know it is there for the taking. And so showing a bit of a power.
If the odds are just good enough there won´t be any maximums on any given tournament I would a very much suggest to make that bet. That´s what I have been talking and writing for years already now; if the odds are just good enough. Regardless if it makes any sense or not, calculations-wise. But some part of the mathematics might still work even when it would be a far cry calculations-wise. It is not that they would fancy to make those 147s. They fancy to stay in at the tournament as it progresses, and to entertain the crowds by some other ways.
If the odds are just good enough. Only then you can really make some profit. Because things happens when it doesn´t even make any sense.
It is a coaches game these days also. With an optimal performance many of those could do that. But that´s only with an optimal performance. That´s sense. But it is a coaches game these days, and they prefer to teach many things including a solid cueing and a cue ball positioning to the blue, and to the yellow and to the green. That´s why I won´t be bothered even when it does look that those 147s just keeps on coming and coming. Because I know that´s only that time of the year. The lads are showing a bit of a power. Happens every year. The current roster is even stronger without Stephen Hendry. This way there is more depth, and these days they can neutralize any given problem ball.

They've increased in frequency since about 2002, even.
But in them days there were bugger all tournaments.
