Seems like Acesinc's friend Renat Denkha was doing well but played one bad match in the semis losing to Ahmed Aly, who he had beaten earlier in the group stages and also the Richler Cup in Canada. Aly then lost the final 5-4 to Raymond Fung who won his first national title.
