I remember only one of those! There was a time, when I had a more manageable snooker addiction (not the full Neil Robertson that I have now) when I only joined the tournament coverage from around the quarters.

Me too, VD; Paddy Browne, Steves Longworth and Duggan, Mario Morra, John Giles, Jon Wright, Eddie Sinclair, Joe O'Boye, etc etc.
I have a fascination for these 'obscure' players, & wonder quite what they expected when they turned pro'; top 16? Ranking event winner? Even World Champion? Some of them, surely, must have believed they were good enough. Quite how they coped with mediocrity is probably a story in itself. I too would love to find out 'where are they now'...
