Can 94 minutes be beaten?

Postby AC or LT?

How long do people think Dave Harold and Shaun Murphy's ninety four minute frame will stand. Personally I hope it gets beaten next season by an epic safety battle last several hours - think a snooker equivelant of the Isner v Manut match at Wimbledon in 2010 (rather than a scrappy frame or blobfest). I think Selby and Ebdon would be good candidates to do it in a UK or Worlds match.

On a similar note when do people think the 1985 final longest match record will be beaten?

94 minutes has already been beaten.

Dave Harold and Dominic Dale had a 98 minute frame in the 2013 World Open qualifiers.

It'd be nice to see Dave Harold get to the telly stages of tournaments more often, at least we could guarantee long matches.

It is a shame that Harold never played Robbie Foldvari, then the record would have definitely gone.

And Dave beating Pinches in the other.
