Will an Asian finally win the six - red tournament

Considereing the six red snooker championship takes place in Thailand and the Europeans have dominated the Championship, does anyone think an Asian might win this year?

i know there's a lot been said about Mark Davis being the 6 red expert but there's no reason to suggest potting 6 reds as appose to 15 needs an expert its just coincident so an Asian has as much chance as anyone else.

Quite frankly 6 red events are a crap shoot and carry virtually zero prestige. More of an event that gives all reasonably decent players a shot...IMO 6 red events are beneath the notice of any real top player, money would be the only reason they'd attend.

It's of recent origin, simply a matter of time before an Asian wins it.

That none have won it so far is more of a numbers game than a reflection on the Asian players, skill is less of a factor in 6 red.
