the events id give Davis as true Rankers that never was are

You would have to include the big non-ranking events too. Tha Masters is obvious but the Irish & Scottish were reasonably big tournamnets too and Davis. I think Hendry leads in Masters 6-3, Davis leads Irish Masters 8-3 and it's 3-3 in Scottish Masters.

so by my reckoning Davis was 38-36 ahead on rankers
now with these Masters factored in that an extra 12 to Hendry and an extra 14 to Davis so its 52-48 now to Davis

no they werent they were 16 or 24 men events like the Masters they were not rankers
and if you going down that road then Hendry has also won fore runners of rankers
1998 and 2001 Malta Grand Prix.
