I think I was 12

at home mainly.I've had a table in my house for just over a year.

four

who do you practise with?
mainly by myself but I also practise with some scottish players,including john higgins, stephen maguire and marcus campbell.

what type of cue do you use?
I've had a few this year. At the moment I'm using ash hunt and osborne.

what do you consider your greatest moment so far?
winning the world championship in 2006,although winning the 2007 china open gave me more pleasure because I played better in that than at the crucible.

what's your biggest disappointment so far?
losing in the first round at sheffield the following year,which cost me the chance to become world no.1.

what are your ambitions at this point of your career?
to get back to playing well and back in the top 16

I love all the Moore Bonds but its easily the weakest, my favourite out of the other 6 Moore did varies but usually one of the later ones Moonraker, Octopussy, A View to a Kill or For Your Eyes Only.

mainly on my own but also with some of the other Irish players.

It's an ash cue. I found it in the pool rack at jason's in dublin in 1982 and gave the owner two Irish punts for it.

Winning the world championship in 1997.

Losing the 2003 world final and missing the black for a 147 at wembley in 2000

To get back in the top 16 and to win another major title.
