Don't really mean anything much, anyway. He pulled out of a qualifying tournament for the Premier League, which he will enter as the defending champion anyway. If people had pay to watch his match, and he pulled out without a good reason, that's one thing.

But this is a tournament which has no fans there, is only televised on a betting website when most people are at work. I'll be there are fans of snooker which don't even know this tournament exists. It's not like he's pulled out of a ranking event, is it?

How much Championship League are you going to watch anyway? Who really cares if he's in it or not.
