Hugh Abernethy

Anybody know anything about a snooker player called Hugh Abernethy? I just saw something about him online, and realised I knew nothing about him.

I've seen the name as in it's vaguely familiar.

No he didn't.

I played him in the PH English Open a couple of years ago and was a bit of a grinder.

I think I've confused him with Euan Henderson actually... but I've heard of Abernethy, yeah.

Lost 4-0 but th frames went down to the colours. I was gutted not to win a frame

I was looking at stuff about Michaela Tabb on the internet, and saw this photo.

I wondered who Abernethy was, outside a character in Terry Brooks' books, so I asked on here.

Didn't Abernethy have a good run in the B&H-Masters Championship a few years ago?

Dunno. Maybe. I watched the Grand Prix in 2004, so I must have heard of him. I just don't remember him. I hope he's reading this thread, happy that people are talking about him.
