I can't even remember why I posted that. Somebody used to keep calling him a little thug and I thought it was funny. I dont really have an opinion on Allen either way. I didn't want to just say allright like I did with 80% of the players.

i just typed his name, just that ray reardon on a thread on 606 and it came back saying i had used an offensive word?

the question is, what has ray done to so offend the 606 mods????

I cant say I dislike any of them and while I obviously prefer to watch some more than others a good close match is all I want.

The strongest player that Ive seen in my time has to be Hendry.
In my opinon he would have bossed any era.

1. Ronnie O'Sullivan - Too right, #1 in my eyes.
2. Stephen Maguire - Decent chap but too much of a chav.
3. Shaun Murphy - annoying, like watching him lose.
4. John Higgins - Begrudgingly like him, terrific player but rather boring.
5. Allister Carter - OK, his tendency to fold like a tent in a hurricane is quite funny.
6. Ryan Day - No charisma and no heart for a battle.
7. Mark Selby - Not really, his comic persona is a bit false and apart from the odd piece of brilliance is rather dull.
8. Marco Fu - Like vanilla, don't dislike nor like.
9. Neil Robertson - Bit of a muppet really but when he relaxes can put on a good show.
10. Stephen Hendry - Nah
11. Mark Allen - Warmed to him over the last few years.
12. Joe Perry - Yes but feel the guy, he is balding already.
13. Ding Junhui - Talented player but sincerely hope he does't dominate when the current legends retre.
14. Peter Ebdon - annoying
15. Mark Williams - Yes, best player (after Ronnie) to watch when in the groove.
16. Mark King - Don't know why but I like him.

Re: Favourite Player and Why?

My favourite players would be (in no particular order):
Matthew Stevens (lovely bloke, very frustrating player), Neil Robertson, David Morris (really great guy if your lucky enough to meet him), Ronnie O'Sullivan (based solely on play, although he wasn't as distant as I expected), Stephen Maguire, Mark Williams, Ken Doherty, Graeme Dott (admire him for how well he has battled back from his problems without making a song and dance over it), John Higgins, Mark Selby, Andrew Higginson, Jimmy White, Joe Swail, Rory McLeod, Peter Ebdon, Ding Junhui, David Gray

Least favourites:
Shaun Murphy, Dave Harold (cocky as sin from what I could see), Judd Trump (has been totally overhyped, unlike Ding who has something to his name), Gerard Greene (about as Irish as Winston Churchill), Ian McCulloch (his comments about Dott two years back were totally out of order), Jamie Burnett, Mike Dunn, Robert Milkins, Leo Hernandez (very smelly, would be okay if it weren't for that), Andy Hicks, Quintenn Hann if you still count the tosser

1. Ronnie O'Sullivan - Brilliant player but don't like his sportsmanship.
2. Stephen Maguire - Great player expected alot more from him by now and I think he is innocent regarding match fixing. A player I like to win.
3. Shaun Murphy - Certainly in my top 5, I like Murphy I think he is a dangers player and when on form is one of the best. He is very unpopular but I like this bloke and think he gets alot of bad press ie) being branded an Anti-Hearn with no evidence.
4. John Higgins - I believe John is a gentleman and he is proving to be the best all round player to ever pick up a cue.
5. Allister Carter - Good player but is let down by his temperament when behind. I generally want him to loose his matches.
6. Ryan Day - Again Good player but I think he's a bit over hyped.
7. Mark Selby - Great player didn't used to rate him until he won the Welsh Open against O'Sullivan from behind which he did again at the masters. Good character for the game but I wish he wouldn't keep trying to make people laugh all the time. It’s a bit too much at times.
8. Marco Fu - I like Fu and his Grand Prix win was a very exciting last few frames.
9. Neil Robertson - Going to stick my neck out here and say I don't think he is going to win the world title this year I think he's a bit over hyped. He has the talent but I feel he is not yet complete.
10. Stephen Hendry - inspirational
