Definitely will be pressure on that last shot along the cushion, bearing in mind those shots are always missable although in saying that you do find that the pockets can be very generous at exhibition events such as this one as the whole point of these sort of things is to try and sell the game to new audiences therefore the organisers want lots of high breaks, do that golden ball could hit halfway down the cushion and still drop! Let’s see.

The last shot for the 167 doesnt have to be on the baulk cushion. If an object ball touches the golden ball then the golden ball will stay where it is, so it could well happen that when going for the 167 break the golden ball won't be on the baulk cushion but somewhere else on the table.

Will be absolutely hilarious if someone makes 147, gets on the golden ball and misses it.

Well I doubt this golden ball has been manufactured by Aramith or anything. It’ll probably have some sort of gold coating and react completely differently to a proper ball. Add to that, rolling a ball in along the baulk cushion has never been easy in the first place.

When a sport sells out to Saudi and encourages sport washing it’s always a matter of Saudi says jump and the WST says how high so WST have no choice but to sit in the meetings and listen to ridiculous ideas and respond with “that’s an amazing idea your excellency!” Everyone will have to be on their best behaviour, for the love of god no late night excursions out of the hotel late at night please Amac or you may find yourself taking a flight off the top of a building and nobody wants to see that!
