He will win again at some point and he will beat Robbo again at some point there is nothing to be embarrassed about tonight or this season he has lost to Great players playing well the German Masters was the blot on this season he did not perform there.

Before going to bed tonight, I will say a prayer for angel Mark Selby. Surely his tournament drought has to end some time soon, right?

I pray to Buddha, you are right. This is getting very worrying.

The Lord has listened to our prayers. He made the pockets bigger and made Luca play like an idiot just so Mark could win again.

I agree, he may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the game is all the better for having Selby amongst the top players.

Yes. Love him or hate him, he's box office and one of the all-time greats.

I didn’t enjoy the final particularly, but got a strange feeling of consolation seeing Mark on the winner’s rostrum once again. He’s not a bad guy.

Of all the tournament winners in 2022, the sight of Selby lifting a trophy again was the best to see. What a player. Don’t fancy him to win the Masters but he’ll be in the mix in Sheffield.

It is indeed. But with the amount of tournaments there is it had to happen at some stage unfortunately.
