Rob walkers excitement at seeing lego and the smallest non descript back garden ever are fairly perplexing to say the least.

For thoroughness, they should also preview the home he has in China, along with all the property he has invested in.

Seems like he's got his head screwed on, knows it wont last forever and is building a future for himself and his girlfriend.
He might want to move back to China in the long run and is sensibly saving up now.

Yes, just because you've got money doesn't mean you have to rush out and buy a palace to live in.
If where he lives now is big enough for him and his girlfriend, that's all that matters. Saving up for whatever he wants to do in the future is a good idea, especially in one so young.
People often think that the second you get any money, you should stop worrying about what you spend it on. Knowing how to handle money should you be lucky enough to have any is an important life skill.

Yan seems like a thoroughly nice guy. I thought the feature was a bit cringey tho and a bit of an intrusion into his (and his girlfriend’s personal space.

Just because someone makes a lot of money, it doesn’t mean they should buy an expensive house. As long as he’s comfortable with his home with his girlfriend, that’s all that matters. People usually plan their finances ahead and list their priorities.
