If players were allowed to wear trackies/joggers I would literally cringe.

I'm considering implementing a dress code on Snooker Island. #LordingIt
My issue was it seems impractical to me, with all the bending and stretching.
Not really that the players can't show us their personality.
But we're going round in circles here.
I should've just left it at my 'hard sell' comment.

Even actual track athletes don’t wear tracksuits when performing in their sport.

I think snooker players should wear white T-Shirts and shorts, so we can make the sport more like tennis.

Think about that when you're watching Hamilton, Walker and Lawler today.

I’m in favour of less formal code - they’re sportsmen, not waiters.

I think they should wear oversized polyester polo shirts, like the darts lot. The more flame and wolf graphics, the better.

The end World Snooker World Championship match for the end Snooker World Championship Trophy should be best of 40 between the Men's and Women's World Champions. Without a dress code. If it ends 20-20 it becomes a Sudden Death Black Ball play off.

Every sport has a dress code. You don't see footballers or Olympians wearing jeans do you.
Its the snooker dress code and it should stay.

Looks like Snooker is hard on the knees with the amount of hole in their trousers.

I would get rid of the bow ties maybe (Alex Higgins look) but also perhaps the waistcoats.
Alternatively we could make them play in gorilla costumes.
