I’m no fan of Higgins but that was a historic performance, particularly against Selby. Honestly the final was somewhat handed to him but everything before that was *chef kiss*

I can’t remember the last time I saw Higgins play like that. I bet he wishes he found that form in the 2019 WC.

Shanghai Masters 2012 Final 2nd session, and 2005 Grand Prix Final were close to that.
But he didn't do it for the whole tournament like this one. But funnily enough, he wasn't playing that well in the Final, and if Ronnie hadn't simply given up after the 2nd frame, the match would be a lot closer, maybe similar to their next match, the TC.
