Yes very true, before eurosport there was no way for us to watch events outside of the UK and Ireland.
This is one thing Walker deserves credit for.

To put the appearance of last years' Bahrain into perspective... the 2 or 3 Sheiks
sitting in the stands almost alone could easily have afforded to throw a casting
call to fill the tent with a hundred spectators who looked like this:

im not sure if it was walker or walker was in the right place at the right time either way eurosport gave us live snooker of the World Championship before the Red Button.
they gave us Breakfast Snooker from china.
they will broadcast Live from shanghai 6th to 12th of September then followed 6 day later with coverage from Glasgow of the World Open in conjunction with the Beeb.
if your a snooker fan Eurosport is GOD.

Exactly wild. So what if occasionally a match doesn't go out live because it clashes with Moto GP or something like that. I can live with it given the amount of snooker they show. It's almost saturation on Eurosport as far as snooker is concerned.
