I know there is no ‘perfect’ way of devising a Ranking System but what we have now seems to be as bad as it’s ever been; the ‘race’to be no.1 epitomises that :irk:

What Money ranking has done is push up Cash especially in China.

Last China Open was in 2019 won by Robbo £225,000 When Rankings changed to Money for the 2014/2015 season it was £85,000 for china Open

Last 2 seasons Ranking events won and cash won by winning those
Judd Trump 11 £940,000
Mark Selby 5 £780,000
Neil Robertson 4 £530,000
Shaun Murphy 2 £220,000
Ronnie O'Sullivan 1 £500,000
Ding Junhui 1 £200,000
Stephen Maguire 1 £150,000
John Higgins 1 £125,000
Jordan Brown 1 £70,000
yan bingtao 1 £50,000
Kyren Wilson 1 £33,000

Only Kyren and Yan Bingtao are younger than Judd so i cant see much competition to stop Judd being WN 1 in 10 years

Don’t forget Willo.

Not to mention that Saudi tournament which would have been £500,000.

I wonder if that’ll ever happen. Would Judd complain about the rankings if he won that one? :chin:
