This will make a big difference. I've been arguing for a different format, because the format used up until now is not the fairest. My own preferred solution is still much fairer, but this is much better.
The recent Chinese Q School was seeded, and ultimately the right 4 players qualified.

did you get any streams on that Chinese Q School , did you get the sense that the lower ranked or unseeded players in that were stronger than their equivalent at the Q School in Britain ?
