Going to have to find my Best of Boney M cassette. It's got some classics, like "My Friend Jack" ('My friend Jack likes sugarlumps' - it's about a horse) and "Belfast" (their unique take on the Troubles in Northern Ireland).

Boney M are brilliant. Sunny is a particular favourite, and we now have a snooker player named after it.
It's going up the charts because of tik tok / Instagram reels I would hazard. It's been used in a billion silly dancing clips.

I think Boney M was actually a white producer in Germany. The guy you see in the videos was just a dancer.
