You really seeded it so that Ronnie plays Hendry in the Semis rather than potentially in the final?

Nope, didn't seed it. As explained at the start, I used the FIFA World Cup format. I think the two best players met in the semi-finals, but so be it.

Anyway, we have our finalists now: Ronnie O'Sullivan and Steve Davis, at the Crucible Theatre, over the best of 71 frames. The target is 36 frames, double what it would usually be in a World Championship final.

Meanwhile, Stephen Hendry faces John Higgins in the third-place play-off at the Guild Hall in Preston. The first to 27 frames finishes third.
