Hendry goes top after beating Griffiths 11-1. Higgins goes second thanks to an 11-7 win over Parrott.

Stephen Hendry and Alex Higgins have qualified for the Round of 16. Griffiths and Parrott are out.

Really tough group for a 1st round, truth be told, both Parrott and Griffiths would have been shoe-ins in other groups.

Yeah, real ball-crusher of a group. The winner was a shoe-in, but very tight for second. I fancied Higgins, but could have gone any way.
