Need some time to think about this. Will post later. I think I will just make a list of my personal favourites without considering the historical importance of the matches.

The match you chose as a winner has a lot of historical importance, but otherwise it was a garbage match

Yes but I think some people might choose certain matches because they think those matches are legendary or historically important.. I'm not going to pay attention to that stuff, just matches I enjoy watching.

1. O'Sullivan 17:16 Selby - WC 2020

8. Hendry 18-17 White - WC 1994
9. O'Sullivan 10:9 Trump - Tour Championship 2019
10. O'Sullivan 9:8 Selby - UK 2007
This is a very personal list and very biased towards O'Sullivan matches. I didn't even include the 1985 final which was obviously a legendary match...

That and 2010 are the only world finals I could not see through to the end. Both utterly dreadful matches.

Well I'm also going by the same token as Holden, not the top 10 matches of all time but rather my personal top 10, which may differ and of course favour some of Ronnie's matches.
1. O'Sullivan 17-16 Selby WC 2020
2. O'Sullivan 6-0 Walden Masters 2014
3. O'Sullivan 10-9 Trump Tour Championship
4. Selby 13-12 Higgins WC 2009
5. Williams 10-9 Hendry Masters 1998
6. Higgins 10-9 O'Sullivan Masters 2006
7. Robertson 6-5 Higgins Grand Prix 2009
8. O'Sullivan 9-8 Selby UK 2007
9. O'Sullivan 10-8 Selby Masters 2009
10. Hendry 18-17 White WC 1994

Flabbergasted that you didn’t put Williams 18-16 Higgins in there!
And I’ve just realised Higgins is the only one of the 93 Trio not to win a world final against another member of the Trio. And both Ronnie and Williams have beaten him.
Ronnie > Williams > Higgins?

Higgins might not have beaten Ronnie and MJW in a World Final, but he did beat them in 3 of the world titles he won, in various rounds:
3 times against Ronnie, in 1998 Semis, 2007 and 2011 Quarter-Finals.
Once v MJW in 2011 Semis, and he beat Ronnie and MJW in consecutive rounds.
So I would say he's done it against his 2 biggest rivals.

My “Ronnie > Williams > Higgins” was tongue-in-cheek, to be fair. I’d definitely have Higgins above Williams.
Just thought it was interesting.

I know it was.
But I thought it was interesting to note Higgins beat them in 3 of the world titles he won, and in 2011 beat both.

Also interesting:
Selby beat Ronnie in a world final, Ronnie beat Higgins in a world final, and Higgins beat Selby in a world final.
