It's quite fascinating how fragile every match's status is. Few people have any memory of the Higgins-White decider. And had White won that decider, Higgins' break wouldn't really be remembered that well.

Higgins went on to win the World title after that great win over White, Doherty didnt after making the comeback against Hunter.
