The only exception in recent years was to contribute an interview to the author (Luke Williams) of ‘the Natural: the Greatest Snooker Player You Never Saw’, a biography of Patsy Houlihan because “I’ll make an exception in Patsy’s case. He deserves it.”

One of the last things i can remember hearin anything bout him,was if i stand correct.I,m sure i heard that he owns(ed) a Jewlery Shop. :chin:

Yeah supposedly Steve Davis was asked recently if he still does, Steve was unsure as he hadn't seen him in years.

Yes. Bill would have been great on there. Last I heard of him he had hair down to his waist and was trying to make a living playing poker in pubs. Poor old bill. Sadly he died in 2003.

But here's my pick: Patsy Fagan

Wasn't he also on disability benefits like Alex Higgins towards the end?

Does restitis count as a disability?

There's hundreds.

But in terms of interesting personalities, Dave Harold would likely make for a good prog.

He could also do a "where are they now" series for players who seemed to just vanish, like Cope, Gray, Wilkinson, etc. I know experts likely know where they are now, but it would be interesting for the general public and show the Life After Snooker perspective.

+1.

"where are they now".

Thats summit that really interests me. <ok> Especially the ones who have vanished, who noone has heard anything bout them for a long time.

Of one of the hundreds, many.A name that i suddenly thought of a few days ago,was Mick Price.

It says this on his Wiki.He later became a maths teacher, and continued to play local league snooker in the Midlands".

But of course,we,d like to know,is he still a Maths Teacher, does he still play Snooker. :chin: :-)

If you’re interested, I believe Eugene Hughes still plays in the Irish Leagues

Mario Morra has had quite a successful career on the North American pool circuit, alongside his brother John

And Marcel Gauvreau possibly went back in time and transitioned

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcelle_Gauvreau

(though don’t quote me on that last one)

Would Mike Hallett go on or would it be too 'raw' still?

Bob Chaperon.
Dean Reynolds

Mark Johnston-Allen if they are willing to discuss the elephant in the room ( Hendry moaning about losing to players who shouldn't be on the table with him)

I don't have the book with me, but according to Alex after the match they shook hands and Alex said something like " Good match although you were a bit lucky in the end, it won't happen next time, as I'll play like the devil, I'll buck you."

Actually Naseem might be an interesting celebrity guest. Supposedly back in the day he could hit 50 odd breaks.

Then there is also the fact Hendry said in his autobiography that he and Nas where mates, until Nas ditched him when Ronnie started to take over from Hendry. Also Ronnie has said Nas told Ronnie to make the comments before their match at the 2002 World's.

According to Alex: Well done. You were a bit lucky.

According to Stephen: Up your a***, you c***!
