So I saw this making viral news on Twitter!
Snooker is a visual sport to a T. It's a tough sport to play and an even tougher sport to sell to viewers, and despite someone being the WN1 or the WC, people are not going to be climbing over walls to see a Kyren Wilson match.
There are about 10 others in the top 16 and some others outside the top 16 that I would pay to watch on a tv match.
You don't have to be O'Sullivan or Trump to sell tickets, but Kyren doesn't bring in any type of entertainment.
Yeah, Selby's matches CAN get long but he's been involved in a lot of big, epic matches and formed rivalries to make things interesting.

Who was on table 1 that day? I'm fairly sure it wasn't Ronnie.

I don’t think he’s making a valid point about not being put on the TV table and then getting “found out”. Maybe he just wasn’t good enough, regardless of the table.
One of those moments where it’s better to take a deep breath and keep your gob shut.
Edit: TV, not match

Kyren has still been on table 1 a lot this season. I remember a few years ago he was moaning about not ever being on table 1. Being current world champion doesn't automatically mean you should be on table 1 in every match. Selby is a 4 time world champion and he's not always on table 1 and he never moans about it!

What is the almost getting into altercations with youths in car parks about? Surely at 32 he is a bit too old to be getting caught up in that kind of silliness

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/31881290 ... cible/amp/No mention of what led up to the incident though, have to think that there was something online that proceeded it, if not then surely you would get the police involved if gangs of youths are targeting innocent members of the public in this manner? Like I say, it sounds like they all need to grow up

The accident occurred in 2020 so he would have in fact been 28, still old enough to know better dependent on what the full story was in relation to the incident, trying to fill in the gaps between someone sending you photos to it escalating to appearing with weapons (allegedly)

You would need to know the full context of what transpired prior to the alleged car park chase

It’s extremely difficult to conclude what in fact transpired leading up to the incident, also have only heard one side’s version, it just seems like bits are missing though.

Just struck me as a strange anecdote without adding what transpired in between receiving random picture messages to the next thing being chased through a car park, if that was truly exactly what occurred then wouldn’t it be extremely disturbing and disconcerting that you would report the events to police, unless there had been some sort of back and forth which wouldn’t show you to be completely innocent, in that case you may not want to be reporting/bringing attention to what had gone on prior to the chase.
All I’m saying is there feels like something is missing from the telling of the story, if there isn’t then there must be groups of tooled up lads randomly targeting snooker players which would be very concerning and I’m sure the authorities would want to investigate, perhaps it was reported at the time and dealt with and kyren is saving the story for his future book instead.
