Robertson won his title in a season with 20 ranking events, so it’s less valuable than Fan’s, which came in a season with 16 events.

But that’s bullocks. Steve Davis had every right to retire years before he did. That’s in no way a fair reflection of how good he was in his prime years..
I'd posted this a few years ago in a different thread. From turning pro to winning his last ranking event in Season 94/95, Davis had 28 wins from 91 tournaments entered, putting him at 30.77% for that period.
