Fair play to Clive - surely nothing to do with wanting to interest readers and sell the book to Ronnocrats.
His Mark King biography had a good intro also:
"Mark King is the 102nd best player in snooker history, an alright bloke can make the game look a little bit grindy. At his best, he is simply alright."

To be fair, Everton isn’t that type. There are aspects of this book Sullivan fans won’t like.
Everton wouldn’t say Sullivan is the best unless he believes it.

Clive is the most balanced snooker commentator, observer and historian. He knows what he's talking about.
Ronnie is the best, whether Hendry fans like it or not.

Now moving into Sullivan’s relationship with his ex-lover, Sally.
Not pretty. I can see why Sullivan didn’t want to co-operate with the book. Everton was never going to gloss over things.

Dennis Taylor once told me he was unbiased about Ronnie on Twitter.
