Pankaj Advani no longer on Pro Tour?

Article on the IBSF website says he's no longer playing on the Pro Tour. (The article is actually about him becoming top seed for the IBSF World Six Reds).

A strange decision if true.

isn't that the same thing as Ronnie is doing.

Well, if the opt out is permanent, isn't it the same as quitting? Even if it isn't, if he takes too long out, he could end up out of the top 64 by the end of the season and then he won't have much choice whether it's permanent or not.

He doesent mention permanent.

The way i read it is hes opted out of the pro tour to play in the 6 reds thing (buck knows why though ) and then he will be back for the shanghai masters.

World Snooker has issued this mini statement

Jin Long and Shi Hanqing have both been removed from the list, as they have not renewed their WPBSA membership and therefore are no longer on the World Snooker Tour.

so my guess Pankaj Advani must have Renewed his membership

Just when I wanted to say there were some articles, but only about celebrating Advani's 6 red amateur world title, I found one on the subject
