Or skip them if he does well in the overseas events.
Wants to travel more and have a break in between events.
May enter UK events if gets knocked out early in overseas events.
Will Ronnie stick to this plan and what are your thoughts if he does?

At this stage of his career, I mean who can blame Ronnie?
He's won everything there is to win, he's motivaved for the big events only now which give more prize money, and that money, apart from TC events, is in China.
I still expect him to play Home Nations due to his ES contract and CoC but if he sticks to his plan, then so be it, I mean nobody can blame him.

Low tariff Home nations I'm sure he could do without.

Eurosport contract, only reason.
That's why you often see him play kamikaze snooker in those events. It's a win-win tournament for him.

I think we know Ronnie well enough to know that what he says today will mean nothing tomorrow.

Yes, in a way.
Ronnie's agent charges extra appearance fees for overseas events. There's a special deal that covers events in China, Thailand and India; other events are done on a tournament-by-tournament basis. That's why he didn't play in the Turkish Masters and German Masters.
So yes, it makes more sense to 'concentrate' on overseas events, when he gets paid up-front.
But I'd also say (having been to most of these tournaments myself) that the overseas events have generally better venues and the players are treated royally.

So Ronnie will concentrate on overseas events.
With the exception of The Triple Crown. And probably the Home Nations, because of his Eurosport contract. And possibly the Champion Of Champins, because it's a big event. And maybe the other ITV events too, if he gets into them.
Other than that, he's playing very little.
