Do you even need to use the toilet to go back stage? I thought you could just leave the arena to compose yourself, wash your face, etc...

Yeah, you're perfectly allowed.

We sort of say toilet breaks, or comfort breaks, as a cover all.

But yeah, there's nothing to stop you going out at the end of every frame if you want to.

A few years ago I seem to remember Hearn bring them up in an interview. Think he wanted to cut players leaving the arena unnecessarily.
