I was going to say he still owes a ton of outstanding fines, but if the article is correct it's more than I remember:
"he still owes snooker authorities £125,000 in fees."
It probably means any comeback will be restricted to the Legends/900 circuit.

I would suspect that this would rule out a comeback, even if Lee didn't.
I suppose the WST could bring him back, and not pay him any prize money until the fines were repaid.
