Evening all, i have been away for a bit due to personal reasons but am liking to new format Sonny
.
I like the idea that Mr Hearn is generating some new interest in snooker, there seems to be a buz about the game again. All bodes well for the future i feel

Liar. When Hearn said "We will not reward mediocrity" you can take him at his word.
But, he wasn't just talking about below 17 players. He was talking about snooker itself.
If "traditional" snooker under-performs it will be gone as we have known it.
Non-promoted PTC tournaments and Power Snooker are the warning shots.
Hearns is a take-no-prisoners guy too. Look at John Higgins.
