I put the scores in for the 2014 one in my rankings a couple of days ago so should have remembered this :chuckle:
When I saw the question though I immediately thought Australian Open though. Could have sworn he'd won it.

No, he never did win the Australian!

Before I ask this, please note that at this moment in time, I don't know the answer. I'm also about to go to sleep. So, apologies in advance if you immediately get it right and have to wait a while for confirmation.

Dean Young has just become a professional for the first time. Who was the last Scotsman to become a pro for the first time?

(I'm not sure if it was Eden Sharav (I'll check the answer in the morning), but I'm afraid I'm counting him as Israeli for the purposes of this question)

Ohh yes I remember watching the Wuxi classic final in 2014 between Robbo and Perry. Can't believe I didn't get this.

Sorry for the delay in responding.
Donaldson is a decent shout. He made his debut in 2012.
There have been three more recently though

Incidentally, with Anthony McGill recently turning 30 and Dean Young still a teenager, Donaldson is the only 20 something Scottish professional.
The three who debuted more recently are all still in their twenties, but none are still professional.

Let’s try Ross Muir then…

Re: Never Ending Quiz

Ross came on tour in 2013 and had six seasons as a pro. 2 Scots have been and gone since then.

No, it isn't a trick question.

We're looking for a player who was in q school this time and is still only 22.

You didn’t read the question correctly

Very careless at this level

Re: Never Ending Quiz

I don't know any young Scottish players that were in q school this year
I could maybe ask Hendry_fan but that would be deemed as cheating lol.

Correct!
The second most recent was Rhys Clark.

Another still 20 something, Michael Leslie, got on tour at the same time as Donaldson

What is Chris Totten's hometown. He shares it with another pro snooker player?
