Not Poomjaeng.

I'll have to double check but my memory tells me he only entered Q school once and failed to qualify

Dechawat qualified for his one stint as a pro by winning the World Amateur Championship

It was 2011 though, right?

I’ll try Gareth Allen then

Yes, Poomjaeng won the 2010 World Amateurs and was a pro from 2011-2017.

Gareth Allen qualified from Q School in 2015. In 2011 he didn't win a match, losing to David Grace, David Gray and Steve Judd

Akbar entered Q School once, in 2019. Despite winning 7 matches, he failed to qualify.
I would like to see Akbar back on the tour giving it another go. He really improved a lot towards the end of his spell as a pro.

Correct! Duffy also qualified in 2016.

The others to qualify in 2011 were:
Andrew Norman
David Grace
Adam Wicheard
Robin Hull
Li Yan
David Morris
Simon Bedford
Tian Pengfei
Kurt Maflin
Stuart Carrington

and
David Gilbert

Of the current top 16 players, which three have twice in their careers finished a season ranked outside the top 64?

Re: Never Ending Quiz

Neil Robertson is one of them, I’m sure of that.

Robertson finished the 00-01 season in 118th, and the 03-04 season in 68th

Mark Selby first ranking event final was the Scottish Open in 2003. Who did he beat in the semi final?

Dunno. He lost the final to David Gray; why couldn’t you have asked that? :wild:
