As Roy Walker, presenter of the never popular Catchphrase used to say, "it's good but it's not the right answer".
Keep guessing!

No.
The final clue I will give is he beat Thorburn 10-5 from 1-5 down in the first round, and in the quarter final he was 9-0 down and eventually lost 13-6 to Jimmy White.

In 2018, 2019 and 2020, John Higgins won the high break prize at the Crucible for 3 consecutive years. Who is the only other player to win it 3 years in a row?

Luckily, I have my Crucible Almanac to help me.
Perrie Mans - highest break at the Crucible was 85 in 1980. Probably not far off his highest break ever.
Tony Chappell's highest break was 52, the once he played there in 1990.
Davis won it in '86 and '87, but Steve James broke the run in '88.
LDS is the winner. Neil Robertson scored 143 in '13, 140 in '14 and he shared the honors with Stuart Bingham in 2015 with a 145.

Mark Davis and Mark Joyce are 2 of our biggest surprises at this years WSC. Neither has ever won a ranking event, and, interestingly enough, they have both only ever appeared in one ranking final each.
What are the two ranking events that comprise Mark and Mark's total ranking final appearances?

I was there watching in 88 when James made the highest break. It was against 'Sexy Rexy'. I think it was 141,
