49 - Hmm right, is that including the 2004 final or up to it (ie not including it)
anyway Scottish winners, we have 7 (Hendry) + 1 (Higgins) = 8 versus English (Davis 6, Ronnie 1, Parrot1, Spencer 1 and since i know England are on 9 now i cant be fussed double checking to see if ive missed anymore ...oh and England would be on 10 if you include the 2004 final. Anyway the answer is FALSE whatever.
131 - Dott turn pro? Hmm ll take a stab at 1994 cos he be about 17 then.
1030 - Steady Eddie, thats an easy one, the only ever whitewash at the Crucible still unbelievably

And of course he hasn't made a max in the Masters because only Kirk Stevens and Ding have done that. What is your definition of a major? For me there are only 3 per season.
Anyway, I remember a time where John Higgins just couldn't get that 147 and suddenly he got one quite late on his career and then he couldn't stop getting them after that. I think one was the LG Cup (the Grand Prix / now World Open) but I really can't think where the others were. He got one in a final and another in his first round match of the next event if memory serves.
What a player
(Was the LG Cup where he had lipstick around his mouth after the max following a kiss from his wife?)
