Bank?

A river bank wears down, a bank stores cash, and bank can be used to mean money (bit of a stretch!) which can be stored.

Marylebone Rag was a ragtime number popularised in the 1950s by Winifred Atwell, Marylebone the trick-taking card game related to bridge and of course Marylebone Station in that there London.
