This is a close one, currently everyone who has contributed is still in with a shout of winning.

Do you want clues?

Clues.

The singer of the band that did track 1 went on to record with Massive Attack, doing the vocals for Paradise Circus and The Spoils, amongst others. The singer has been mentioned in this thread.

Track 6 is from a 1998 album called Big Calm.

Well that’s six of you missing out on an absolute gem of a song, assuming you’ve never at least heard it. I urge you all to go and listen to it as soon as it’s revealed :-)

This is still wide open. Double points for this remaining track remember.

This band formed in Santa Monica in 1989. Their best known track is probably ‘Fade Into You’.

Clues in the form of Hangman to get this one finished. I’ve put a letter in to start. Give me some more!

The slash just denotes a space between the two words of the band name. I wouldn’t let me space it for some reason.

That reminded me of when Clive Everton said "he's done it" when Hendry made the maximum break against Jimmy White in the Crucible semi final back in 1995.

And with that, James takes the win. Well played, again! Now all of you go and listen to Into Dust. It’s a peach :-)

It really is excellent. Very glad you chose it, I would never have listened to it otherwise. Mazzy Star were a band I was aware of, but never actually listened to much. It was during a period that I just had too much music to listen to, just couldn't find time for it all. I was frantically into music back then.

Anyway, having learned from last time, all of these should be unique answers. All quite well-known with a couple of tough-ish ones thrown in:

1. Fake Plastic Trees
2. Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots
3. I'm Waiting For The Man
4. Womaniser
5. Blue Hotel
6. French Kiss
7. Papua New Guinea
8. Novocaine For The Soul
9. Drop It Like It's Hot
10. Pleasant Valley Sunday

Prop has 4 correct in a very good initial foray. Getting Snoop Dogg twice doesn't get any extra points, though.

Iranu has no. 2.
