7 and 8 correct. The songs have the same titles as tv shows but most of them have no connection.

9 is right. 4 is a different song, an older one I heard on the radio last week.

I'm a bit late to this!
"Match of the Day" is Genesis, one of a few tracks of theirs that I quite like (although the lyrics are risible). I'm hoping the "Friends" you're thinking of is the one by Amii Stewart, a pop-soul classic from the mid-1980s. Not sure on other ones.

1 Solo song by a singer whose band had the first song in my previous list.
2 I cheated a bit with this as it's not the full title as there's a bit in brackets after it.
5 Produced by Quincy Jones for the 1967 film the TV show was based on. Singer had a film made about his life.
10 Album has one of these words in the title.

Or maybe additional clues. The clue for 5 is fine, I just don't know the answer, but I can't see how the clues for 2 and 10 would be any help to anyone.

A couple more clues
2 Was a hit ten years ago. There's a bit in brackets after the title.
10 Taken from a very famous 80's album. One of the words in the song title was also in the title of the album.
