White v Mans, 82.
Those breaks don't look very Mans-like, but it's the only one I can think of.
edit: actually, White hadn't won a TC event at the time. Never mind.

White v Virgo - I think they played twice and I forget the years, but I think there was a 13-6.

Davis v Griffiths. They played so many times that 13-6 must've been inevitable.

Another splendid effort and another of the possibles, of course. Not the one though. Only 2 left!

Another clue...
The loser had previously beaten the victor in the final of a TC event

The only other 13-6 that it could've been, prior to my last clue, was Spencer v Reardon 1977 Q-final

Final of a big tournament that went to a decider, both players in the final were of the same nationality which wasn't English!

Good effort but not the match, players or tournament unfortunately. It was earlier.

Not that one, Matthew Stevens and Ken Doherty aren't the same nationality lol and that was 10-8.
The match was in the 80s if that helps.

Quarter final between fellow countrymen. One a former champ. The former champ led 5-3 and 9-7 after two sessions but went down 13-11.

John Parrott vs Jimmy White 1995 world championship quarter final? He lost 13-11 but not sure about the patterns of the score.

Nope. If I remember correctly, Jimmy led 6-2 then Parrott won the second session 6-2 to draw level 8-8.

2010 world championship between Ronnie and Selby? Ronnie was the former champion and I think he did lead 9-7 and lost 13-11 to Selby
