I'm Hendry the seventh I am,
Hendry the seventh i am I am,
I got married to the widow next door,
She's been married six times before,
And every one was an Hendry,
She wouldn't have a Willie or a John (no John),
I'm her seventh old man I'm hendry, hendry the seventh I am.

One of these two players is a huge outsider. Ranked outside the top 100 he faces the easiest of the three other semi-final participants. He loses, and his opponent eventually loses the final to a player who wins his second of this, one of snooker’s most prestigious tournaments.
It remains the player’s best ranking event performance, equalled by a run during the 2020/2021 season.

David Grace losing the 2015 UK championship semi final to LIang Wenbo? Wenbo met Neil Robertson in the final and Robbo won that.

A player made a 147 and then almost followed it up with a second, missing the final black.

Fairly sure I read that it was Liang Wenbo in the qualifiers (2018 or 2019) but can't remember who it was against.
