Ahh, that second clue was certainly needed.
I had Jane Austen for Emma, which made the Austin Maestro, The Maestro being one of Hendry's old nicknames and a Maestro being a controller, such as a conductor.
I thought I had a slam dunk of perfection, but it turned out I was completely off-base.
