AlfGit wrote:#6. The clue I originally intended turned out to be an offensive term, so I changed one word. If you can figure out what the original word might have been, it will be a massive help.
You mean your original clue of Cowboy Twins?

No, Cowboy Twins is the PC version. One word is different from the 'offensive' original that I did not post.

Another hint before I go to bed:
#7. An alternative clue for the same player:
Shoestring MisfortuneLegal disclaimer: The previous hints do not necessarily apply to alternative clues.

Not Marco Fu.
Bear in mind that I did not realise the clue was considered offensive until I went to post it. It was once a common term, and I don't suppose I am the only one that didn't know.
Remember Marco Fu playing Yu Delu in the 2015 UK, when the score banner read FU YU?

I can’t think of a word that would substitute for Cowboy or Twins other than homophobic ones (which would be obvious) or “Siamese” which leads me nowhere!

Joe Swail?
He’s known as the outlaw, which is also a bandit, which has homophobic uses in slurs, but is also a cowboy. No idea how twins factors in.

Fair point LDS. I thought of Mountjoy too because of Brokeback Mountain, which also involves homosexuality. You could be onto something there.
Still not sure where twins comes into it.

Parrott is the only one I can even remotely get to there, but the 133 days between them has me completely lost, lol.

I gave a subtle hint a little while ago, but it was probably too subtle, so:
