There are 11 parts to this answer, as detailed in ‘life of Brian’. Get five, and you unlock the key to setting the next question…

“All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?”

“Brought peace.”

“Oh, shut up!”

I'll give it! Three will do, as it's gone on a while. Ten of the eleven are above in the quote, the acquaduct being the first thing mentioned.

:-D

I was trying to remember it but forgot so many! I did think wine was mentioned more than once, the second one wasn't just a cheeky addition.

The Life of Brian was released on November 8th 1979.

Can you name the leaders of 5 countries at the time of its release?

I thought you’d been on the wine… :chin:

Anyhow : leaders. I’ll try :

1. Anwar Sadat (Egypt)
2. Ayatollah Khomeni (Iran - spelling might not be right)
3. Sassan Hussein (Iraq)
4. Jimmy Carter (USA)
5. Fidel Castro (Cuba)

Excellent effort, and what an interesting selection!

Unfortunately, you miss out by a few days. 4/5 correct, but Khomeini only became the Supreme Leader of Iran on December 3rd 1979.

Being released the month before, it's entirely possible that The Life of Brian was the reason he rose to power.
