Is one half of it snooker related? Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong!

Correct!
Goggle wearer = Dennis Taylor - "Cos I wear these goggles" was his line in Snooker Loopy.
Commoner Kiwi = Lorde - "And we'll never be royals. It don't run in our blood", from Royals.
Over to Iranu!

It has to be! I was thinking Terry too. Another Snooker Loopy reference. He said he wanted to celebrate a win by buying another eight "hairbrushes for me barnet". I couldn't get the first part though. All I could think of was "more tea, vicar?"

Yeah the penny finally dropped about Snooker Loopy. But I’m not entirely confident I’m right about the holy water…

I have watched some of it, and it was very good. I genuinely lost it with the Richard Wilson bit, but I still don't know the answer.

That would have been a better one to set, I think!
As it's been a while I'll just give the answer,
"that would be an ecumenical matterry Griffiths"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptd_h0dF7NENot sure what to do now, open it up? Or should I set a new one.

That was an episode that I haven't seen, so I never would have got it. I'd say set a new one.

OMG you HAVE to watch that! It's probably my all time best, the 3 bishops, think was called The Holy Stone. Jack was trained to speak a few words to be more presentable to the bishops.

Yes, I know I should, and I have been meaning to catch up with them for a long time, but there is always other good stuff (like snooker!) on. I particularly liked the Richard Wilson episode and the "I hear you're a racist now, Father" episode amongst the ones I have seen, but they were all good.
