To quote Alex0paul: Nope

I should add, that would have been the correct answer if the question was about the rankings revisit :-D

Oh god it's going to be one of those PTC events isn't it lol

Re: Never Ending Quiz

I wonder if this is a trick question, could it be 2019 International championship?

You were very close with the first answer. Remember back then there were only a few revisions of the rankings each season. Not after every event

Correct!
A poor safety from Juddernaut88 left Iranu plum.

I thought I’d read it on Chengdu’s thread!

What was Ding Junhui’s first ranking event loss? Bonus bottle of coke winging its way to you if you know the opponent who beat him!

Re: Never Ending Quiz

Think possibly China Open around 2009 or 2010? Mark Williams the opponent.

German Masters 2009? no certain who won it that year though, I'll go with Ebdon

Re: Never Ending Quiz

It was indeed the Grand Prix 2009! :D

Unfortunately though you will not be receiving the bonus bottle of coke as it was Neil Robertson who beat Ding.

Re: Never Ending Quiz

I am devastated about not receiving the bottle of coke lol.

Who was the first player to beat Neil Robertson in a ranking final?

Correct :hatoff: Stephen Lee beat him 4-0 in the 2012 Players Tour championship grand finals.

Ok! Better make an easier question this time.

Which former top 16 professional won the 1st event of the 2004 Challenge Tour?

Re: Never Ending Quiz

Blimey, ok.

Name one of the players to qualify for the tour via the first edition of Q School

Re: Never Ending Quiz

Rory McLeod

Always worth a punt.

Nice try. Rory has qualified from Q School. Only once though, and that was last year. During the first Q school, in 2011, he was already a professional having been ranked 35th at the end of the 10-11 season.
