No, but Unagi is the Japanese word for freshwater eels, especially the Japanese eel. Saltwater eels are known as anago. Unagi are a common ingredient in Japanese cooking.

Unagi is a martial arts term referring to a state of complete awareness.

Japandroids are a Canadian garage rock band.
X Japan are a Japanese progressive metal band. Originally just called X, the country was added to distinguish from an American band of the same name in the international markets.
