Good of him to play this year though, he's canny enough to realise and take the tournament for what it is. Perfect timing with Wembley in mind.
Yes credit where its due fair play for putting his name to the event. However I wonder would he have played this week if it hadn't have been staged in Essex? It will be a different Ronnie at the Masters but Robbo will take confidence from his win.

i know mate..
Ronnie is out anyway Trump inflicted the 3rd 3-0 whitewash of the contest on him.
it would be amazing if Ronnie lost 3 matches 3-0 and still made 5th spot.

He's currently last with no matches left so he is defiantly out altogether

No and here was his major chance to close the gap on hendry in the century stakes and he bommed.
Ronnie did not take it serious theres no doubt about that and he should have lost to Selby he was 2-0 down and selby in the balls.

Hendry finishes 7th in the group but he saved the best until last with breaks of 93 and 106 in beating Judd Trump 3-2 from 2-1 down.
he lost 4 matches 3-2 with only Marco Fu managing to beat him most convincingly....
i think there is light at the end of the tunnel regarding how hes playing even if so far results are disappointing.
